"This is a fantastic golf course - a wee gem, which is in excellent condition for the time of year - April 2019. Although the yardage may suggest it’s short, it is certainly not easy and an extremely good challenge. Most of the greens are small with a number of them well protected with bunkers. The greens themselves are not easy to read, many with undulating slopes, they are however in very good condition for the time of the year and of a reasonably quick pace.
Many thanks, all four of us had a great day."

"I've played here as a guest a few times over the last few months and have enjoyed the experience every time. The course is quite short compared to many other courses, having 5 par 3's and no par 5's, but that doesn't detract from the challenge. There are no two holes the same and it's completely out in the countryside so there is peace and quite, apart from the odd aircraft, which I found more interesting than a nuisance. I would definitely recommend Balmore as a place to play, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming too."
"It's a well kept challenging course with rapid greens, good food friendly staff and well stocked golf shop . Booked through tee off times. Will go back."
"Not only is the course entertaining and challenging but the setting is perfect.
Wish id played here years ago...a cracking course with a nice welcome too.
Cant wait to play again"

"The phrase "hidden gem" is over-used, but it really is appropriate for Balmore, a friendly club tucked away in a rural setting a few miles west of Kirkintilloch. Every hole is different, with prominent features being tiered tees, a menacing stream, uphill/downhill fairways and well-placed bunkers. A photogenic course, my camera did overtime, particularly on the par 3s."
